Beyond the innovative design, the new range features 2 important peculiarities: the Silent Technology to reduce the grind noise and the Anti-Clumps & Electrostaticity System which prevents the formation of clumps and ensures dose consistency. Today, the New Mignon Silent is a proper range of product composed of 3 versions; Specialita is the version conceived for baristas: 55 mm burrs for higher grind dispersion speed, all-purpose “Hands-Free” fork and display Touch with 2 programmable doses plus continous mode.
The Specialita grinder is a grinder for every purpose, with 55mm flat burrs made from hardened steel the Specialita has a output of 1,4 up to 1,8gr per second on espresso setting and a output of 1,9 up to 2,5gr per second on brew setting.
This increase in burr size translates to improved grind consistency and cafe-quality shots. The touchscreen is resistive, meaning it has a soft, flexible screen. You'll need to take care to press lightly.
The touch screen has a clear contrast and size and with beautiful fonts in large size. The grinding time can be adjusted up to tenths of a second via the plus and minus buttons. The specialita has a option for choosing single, double or even manual mode for continuous grinding. Adjust your grind time for single, double and continuous modes with a backlit resistive touchscreen. Featuring a beautiful white-on-black touchscreen display with two timed dose settings and the same precise “micro-metric” adjustment.
