The new generation of Mahlkonig Espresso Grinders is designed to be easily maintained, with the silicone flapper being accessed and cleaned by simply removing the hopper and unlocking the top collar. These two screws are intended to only be loosened and not removed because the washers can be lost, or worse, run through the grinding chamber.
