LA MARZOCCO WATER LEVEL PROBE

Compatible with: GB5 X & S, FB80, KB90, Linea Classic S, Leva, FB70, Linea PB, Linea Micra, Linea Mini, Modbar Steam, & Strada EP, AV, EE, MP, X & S. Original La Marzocco water level probe.

The control board uses the level probe to assist it manage the steam boiler's water level. When the probe comes into contact with water, the board detects it and adjusts the solenoid accordingly.

In the event that a boiler has two probes, the deeper (longer outside, shorter inside) is employed as a safety level probe to ensure that the heating element is kept entirely submerged in water before activating, while the higher (longer outside, shorter inside) probe keeps the working level.

Mode of failure

Overfilling of a steam boiler may result from mineral accumulation on the probe or a severed probe cable. The steam element is not turning on. Verify that the wires on any two-level probes on your machine are not inverted.
